Whitney Wolfe Wins Again

Whitney Wolfe is at it again, creating platforms (and yes, beehives) that are impressing many! Recently, Whitney Wolfe introduced the Hive, which is a honeycomb styled pop-up location where Bumble users can meet up. With Bumble’s latest additions, Bumble BFF, the Hive is a great place for dates, friend matches, and the rest of the community to meet up and socialize. The first Hive is set to open in New York. Perhaps more will open around the United States if they seem to be buzzin’ with hype. The Hive is designed to look just like the interior of an actual beehive, as the decor even includes seats that are shaped like perfect hexagons to represent honeycomb. It’s quite the bees-knees, as the Hive has a modern aesthetic to it, too.

One of the coolest things about the Hive is that it is not only meant for dating, or even Bumble users for that matter (although many Bumble bees will probably be found there). Service events related to dating and even entrepreneurship will be offered at the Hive, giving the space not only a cool, kick-back vibe, but an educational and self-growth opportunity as well. The Hive has caught attention already, as both DryBar and Forbes will be hosting their own educational sessions at the new venue. With success, the Hive will hopefully not be the only physical attraction that Bumble creates, as the team of busy bees are working hard to create BumbleBIZZ, tailored for those looking to network and connect.

Perhaps it is Whitney Wolfe’s major in International Studies that taught her how to scout areas that need change in the social world. With Bumble, she realized that women wanted more power in dating. As for Bumble BFF, Whitney Wolfe realized that some wanted an online app to make friends, as not all people were looking for a significant other to meet. With future plans of BumbleBIZZ, Whitney realized the importance of business networking, and how her platform could be the perfect place to help those in need of connections. Whitney Wolfe is connecting many, one app at a time.
